  • Baseline Evaluation

Through research, we assist your organization to assess the initial conditions or performance metrics before a project or intervention begins and provide a reference point that can be used to measure the effectiveness and impact of the project over time. Econest Consultants brings the expertise to conduct baseline and needs assessments of development and humanitarian programs in contexts of protracted crises, vulnerability, or post-disaster situations.

  • Mid-Term Evaluation

Mid-term evaluation is an assessment conducted during the implementation phase of a project or program. It aims to provide insights into the project’s progress, effectiveness, and relevance, allowing for adjustments before the project reaches its conclusion. Econest Consultants works with organizations to ensure that their project is on track to meet its objectives and that any issues or challenges are identified and addressed promptly.

  • End-line evaluations

These are assessments conducted at the end of a programme or intervention intended to measure the success of that intervention. To measure success, end-line assessments use comparative data, usually with baseline assessments. Our team is an expert in designing and implementing innovative participatory evaluation methods in a wide range of contexts and programmes.

  • Feasibility studies

Feasibility studies are critical assessments that evaluate the practicality and viability of a project or program, particularly before significant investment is made. It guides decision-making by evaluating whether a project should move forward based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including financial, technical, legal, operational, and scheduling considerations. Our team has experience in carrying out feasibility studies through the OECD-DAC criteria which include Relevance, Effectiveness, Efficiency, Impact, and Sustainability.

  • Real-time evaluation

Real-time evaluation offers feedback during the implementation of the humanitarian actions, and it can provide timely recommendations, identifying things that may have been ignored due to the swift response to the emergency. Our team will help identify challenges and opportunities as they arise and enable your organization or stakeholders to adapt and optimize efforts accordingly.

  • Social and Institutional Surveys

We use quantitative and qualitative approaches to gather data about communities, organizations, and social systems so as to help our clients understand and make informed decisions on the social behavior, institutional performance, community needs, and the impact of policies and programs. Some of our programs revolve around topics such as Market Survey, Health Surveys, Satisfaction Surveys, Work Environment Surveys, Corruption Perception and Integrity Test Surveys, Employee Assessment Needs, Drugs and Substance Abuse Surveys, Demographic Surveys etc.

  • Gender and social inclusion audits

We offer participatory gender and diversity audits at different levels (institutional, programme, or project level), which use both self-assessment tools and external review. Our process identifies key findings and recommendations—with varying levels of priority—and it concludes with a road map for action. By assessing how policies, programs, and organizational practices impact gender equality and social inclusion, the audits help identify gaps, inequalities, and barriers experienced by marginalized and underrepresented groups, including women, racial and ethnic minorities, people with disabilities, and economically disadvantaged populations.
